It has a slide out removable media tray (filter floss), a larger media chamber (bio balls or live rock), and room enough for a heater, decent sized skimmer (like a reef octopus 150), sensors, ATO float switch, etc..

Numerous plumbing options from predrilled holes, removable tray could be drilled for filter sock. Would be a great sump for a nano or smaller tank to get your equipment out of the way!
