New, in the box Marine Biosystems F5 Biopellet/Media reactor. Made in the USA (Chardon, OH) to be the most efficient biopellet reactor on the market. The F5 features a unique, patent pending, lifting plate the lifts and spins the entire biopellet mass above the bottom the reactor allowing for long term, clump and clog free operation. The F5 is machined from cast acrylic with the lifting plate being 3-D printed from ABS plastic. The over/under space saving design combined with the extreme efficiency of the F5 reactor plate allows the F5 to treat a 100 gallon tank with NPX biopellets while taking up only a 3.1875" x 3.1875" footprint while running from the included 4.0W Rio 180 pump.

The design also features a locking lug design for the top cap and base which allows the unit to be completely disassembled for cleaning. The output tube is standard sch 40 1/2" pvc pipe which allows easy integration into existing systems if you would like to plumb the output to go to a specific location within your sump

Also included is a standard media plate and filter sponge allowing the reactor to function with GFO or Carbon
